The educational responsibilities of the Polymer Technology Group, in co-ordination with the Department of Materials, address the structure of the Polymer Solid State, Polymer Processing, High-Performance Polymers and the interdisciplinary area of Polymer Technology.

In addition, the Group provides practical training and research opportunities in the creation and (micro-)processing and evaluation of polymer-based systems. Both in teaching and research, there is a strong emphasis on advanced, multi-functional materials systems, i.e. systems that perform multiple tasks or respond to multiple stimulations.
